All Levels Vinyasa:
Vinyasa “Vin-yaah-sa” is a style of yoga with an emphasis on linking movement with breath. This is our signature class and it’s taught in a hot room (95 degrees with added humidity). We will give you tools to make it as challenging or modified as you prefer- making it suitable for both advanced students or beginners. Gain strength, flexibility and awareness of your body and mind.
Absolute Beginner Class (ABC):
Not sure where to start? Here it is. Get all your questions answered and explore poses & terminology offered in our All Vinyasa yoga classes. We will give you the tools and experiences you need to build your confidence and kick start your practice. This class is taught in a hot room (95 degrees). Class size is limited to 20 students.
Yoga Nidra:
Yoga Nidra is a deeply relaxing and rejuvenating Yoga practice. This non-heated offering will begin with gentle movements and supportive restorative poses to relax your body. Then through breath awareness and guided imagery meditation you will be led into a state of conscious relaxation. This practice reduces stress and cultivates inner calm and clarity. This class is suitable for all levels and is an amazing opportunity to unwind and recharge!
Yoga HIIT:
Reap the benefits of both a slow, mindful flow followed by a rigorous, fast-paced workout. This heated class combines traditional vinyasa yoga with high intensity interval training (HIIT). Boost your metabolism, build strength and power, improve cardiovascular function AND enjoy some vibe-y yoga all in this 60 minute class
90 Minutes Class:
This 90-minute class invites you to slow down, savor each movement, and dive deeper into your practice. Enjoy the luxury of exploring additional poses and embracing a more relaxed pace. And yes, your final rest is topped off with the bliss of a cold lavender towel. Pure yoga indulgence awaits!
Candlelight Flow and Meditation:
Experience 30 minutes of gentle, candlelit movement followed by a peaceful 20-minute meditation. End with a soothing 10-minute savasana accompanied by singing bowls. Leave feeling deeply relaxed and nurtured. Non-heated class with props provided for your comfort.
Yoga SUP Classes:
Take your practice to the water with Root Down Yoga’s Stand-Up Paddleboard (SUP) Yoga classes! Offered on select warm-weather dates, these unique sessions combine the serenity of yoga with the natural beauty and gentle challenge of floating on water. Build strength, balance, and mindfulness while enjoying the peaceful rhythm of the waves beneath you.
